The point of rocks, the third highest point in the state of Kansas at an elevation of 3,540 feet is located in the grassland boundaries and a long stretch of the Santa Fe trail carves through Cimarron National Grassland.
Wildlife: The Cimarron National Grassland is home to numerous plant and animal species including deer, Woodhouse toads, milk snakes and over 345 bird species including doves, wild turkeys, and many others. Please treat their home with respect.
