Wichita Kansas Playgrounds
Lincoln Park is a small urban playground in Wichita, Kansas right next to the Kansas Firefighters Museum. Like many parks across the United States it is named for the 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln who was born in Kentucky on February 12, 1809 had a very successful career as a lawyer and helped built the railroads and eventually became the 16th President of the United States where he ended slavery and led the nation through the Civil War. Kids at this park will love the interactice water fountain.
Wichita Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.
*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
