Kiwanis Park is an active urban playground in Wichita, Kansas that was first established in 1969 with assistance from the State of Kansas as well as the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund.
Wichita Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.
*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
