Welcome to McAdams Park in Wichita, Kansas just off of Interstate 135. The first parcels of land were purchased in 1901 and the park was expanded many times over the years. Originally known as McKinley Park it was eventually renamed for Officer Emerson McAdams who had a nearly 3 decade career in the force. Many of the park's facilities were built with assistance from local, state and even federal funds with the Land and Water Conservation Fund. The League 42 Youth Baseball league regularly uses the park's fields.
