Welcome to South Riverside Park in Wichita, Kansas on the banks of the Little Arkansas River. This park came to existence with the help of local, State of Kansas, and Federal Funds from the Land and Water Conservation Fund. This park is home to the Ralph Wulz Tennis Center with 12 lighted courts so people can play at night.
Wichita Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.
*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
