Wichita Kansas Trails
Wichita, Kansas, like many other cities around the United States, has a park dedicated to the Veterans of the United States Military. Welcome to Veterans Memorial Park. This park was first established in 1980. One can access the Arkansas River Bike Path from here.
Wichita Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, weapons, fireworks, littering, gambling, hunting, harming wild animals.
*The following require special permits; sales, parades, overnight camping, amplified sound, landing of hang-gliders, hot air balloons or skydivers.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, fishing, motor vehicles, organized athletic play, horseback riding, swimming, golfing, bicycles, flying remote control aircraft, archery.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
*All persons aged 14 and up are prohibited from using the playground.
