Welcome to one of the larger and more funs in Montgomery County, the magnificent South Germantown Recreational Park located in Germantown, Maryland. In the 19th century the majority of this land was operated as a working dairy farm run by a man named James King and his wife. In the 1960's Montgomery County began purchasing the land for recreational use. Today this park boasts many wonderful amenities including the 64,000 square foot indoor sports center with swimming pool, tennis courts, an archery range, over seven miles of multipurpose trails, a picnic area with grills, the Washington Nationals Miracle Baseball Field, an 18 hole minature golf course, a sprayground, and so much more. Come out and have an awesome time!
