Welcome to Sands Road Park in Harwood, Maryland on the banks of the Patuxent River. The open field is a fantastic place for kite-flying on windy days.

While visiting any Anne Arundel County Park please be courteous of the ordinances.

*The following are all prohibited; consumption of alcoholic beverages, defacing of public property, littering, disturbing plants or animals, foul language, boisterious behavior.

*The following activities require special permits; camping, fires of any kind, setting off fireworks. flying of remote control aircraft, amplified sound, picnicking.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Maryland traffic laws.
