Welcome to Franklin Island National Wildlife Refuge located off of the coast of Maine.
Flora and Fauna: Franklin Island National Wildlife Refuge helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the refuge boundaries include red spruces, balsam firs, and raspberry thickets. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include seagulls, ospreys, ducks, and bald eagles. Please treat their home with respect. This island can only be accessed by personal watercraft.
