Welcome to Hiram Sims Memorial Park in Walled Lake, Michigan. This is the largest park managed by the City of Walled Lake, Michigan. The City purchased the land in the late 1960's and named it after it's previous owner Hiram Sims. The State of Michigan gave the City some financial assistance in developing this park's amenities and in 1975 Hiram Sims Memorial Park opened. It's amenities include a paved nature trail which makes for great walks in the park in the fall, three basketball courts, seasonal restrooms, a picnic area with grills, a sand volleyball court, a drinking fountain, and two ponds.
