Welcome to the largest nature preserve in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, the beautiful Palmer Lake Park located on the shores of Shingle Creek. This wetland preserve is a great place for bird-watching. Come out and explore the three mile hiking trail.

When visiting any Park in Brooklyn Center Minnesota please remember to respect the following rules.
*The following are all prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, disturbing plants and animals, glass objects.
*All motorized vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.
*The following activities require special permits; camping, setting off fireworks, selling, posting signs.
*All burning is restricted to picnic areas.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
Violation of these rules could result in prosection and/or up to $1000 in fines and 90 days in jail. Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Minnesota, and United States statutes. Be safe and come out and have fun.
