Welcome to Luxton Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This park was first established in 1912 as Prospect Park but was renamed half a century later for a local citizen who was active in both the garden club, the newspaper, and promoting the local recreation areas, George Luxton. The park's Rec Center has many programs for people of all ages as well as a gymnasium where many indoor sports can be played. It's multipurpose field has lights for night games.
