George Crosby Manitou State Park

Park History: The park was donated to the state of Minnesota from George Crosby in 1955. Like many of the other parks in the region, the bedrock was formed by volcanic activity dating back as far as 1.1 billion years.
Flora and Fauna: George Crosby Manitou State Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include firs, cedars, and many wildflowers. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include moose, wolves, bears, deer, squirrels, rabbits, hawks, and others. Please treat their home with respect.
For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts over 24 miles of trails, 21 campsites, and so much more. Come on out and explore!
