Welcome to Stephens Lake Park in Columbia, Missouri. In the early 19th century a man named Captain David Gordon built his homestead on this property. Eventually it was purchased by Stephens College and was leased out to the City of Columbia at the end of the 20th century. This is a great place for sledding on snowy winter days.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, removing plants or animals, climbing trees, littering, foul language, disorderly behavior, weapons, alcoholic beverages.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, swimming, boating, picnic grilling, camping, horseback riding.

*All persons age 4 and over must use the restroom of their designated sex.
