Welcome to Waters-Moss Memorial Wildlife Area in Columbia, Missouri. Come out and explore 1.75 miles of multipurpose trails. The picnic shelter has grills so bring some meats for cooking. The history behind the name is the land's previous owners which include a man named Daniel Moss who owned it as far back as 1853 and ran it as a farm that he called Hill Crest. Another man who co-owned it with the Moss Family in more recent times was a J.H. Waters.
Columbia Missouri Park Ordinances
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, removing plants or animals, climbing trees, littering, foul language, disorderly behavior, weapons, alcoholic beverages.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, swimming, boating, picnic grilling, camping, horseback riding.
*All persons age 4 and over must use the restroom of their designated sex.
