Welcome to Pony Express Lake Conservation Area located in Osborn, Missouri in DeKalb County. The state first the first parcel of land in 1961 and over the years the area has grown in size. The 240 acre Pony Express Lake first opened to public fishing on New Years Day in 1966 and over the years many anglers have come for bass, catfish, crappie, and sunfish. The hunters come for deer, dove, quail, rabbit, squirrel, and wild turkey. Come out and explore the hiking trail.
