Grand Gulf State Park
Welcome to Missouri's beautiful Grand Gulf State Park, a collapsed cave system that collapsed about 10,000 years ago and has formed a small canyon that some call the Grand Canyon of the Ozarks, even though it is not nearly the size of the real Grand Canyon in Arizona. The canyon stretches for about a mile and some of the walls rise 130 feet above the canyon floor. The natural bridge spans 250 feet and has a 75 foot high opening. This place first became a state park in 1984.
