Welcome to Charles Van Hook Wetland Preserve, a small 7 acre natural park located in Helena, Montana just north of the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds. This was RecPlanet place of the day on July 31, 2017.
Helena Park Rules
For your safety and the safety of others the City of Helena has passed some laws regulating behavior in their parks.
*Overnight camping is not permitted in any park with out the special permission of the park's director.
*All burning is restricted to grills only.
*Unless given special permission, gathering firewood, hunting, and trapping are prohibited.
*Golf and archery are prohibited as is the throwing of dangerous projectiles.
*All tennis courts are designated for the game of tennis only. Proper shoes must be worn and hanging on the nets is prohibited.
*Using the public parks is a priviledge, if a person has had that priviledge suspended then he/she may not enter the parks.
Please treat these rules and the parks with respect. Come on out and have a blast!
