Hewitt Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Welcome to Montana's Hewitt Lake National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge was established on March 7, 1938 by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and helps to protect important wetland habitat. Some of the resident wildlife include many migratory birds and black tailed prairie dogs.
