Welcome to J.W McGee Junior Park in Concord, North Carolina. This is an active community park with a quarter mile multipurpose recreation trail known as the Harold B. McEachern Greenway, a picnic shelter with eight tables and a grill that can be reserved by calling 704-920-5600, a playground for the kids, and much more.
Park ordinances.
*All persons ages 16 and under are required by law to wear a helmet when using skateboards, bicycles, or roller-blades.
*All animals must be leashed, no longer than six feet, and waste removed.
*The following all require special permit; advertisements, campaigning, sales and solicitations.
*Weapons, smoking, littering, swimming, and hunting and consumption of alcohol are all prohibited.
*Please use all athletic facilities including tennis courts, baseball fields, and basketball courts for their designated purpose only.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of North Carolina traffic laws.
*All children must have an adult supervisor.
