Welcome to Walnut Creek Wetland Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. This park was first established in 2009 and helps protect important wildlife habitat.
The North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women is included in this park's acreage because the Walnut Creek Greenway Trail crosses he property and much of the property is undeveloped.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.
*The following are prohibited; climbing trees, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, sleeping, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.
*All skate parks require use of helmets and pads.
*All dogs must be leashed, waste removed, and kept off playgrounds.
