Seven Springs North Carolina Trails
Welcome to the beautiful Cliffs of the Neuse State Park located on the banks of the Neuse River in Seven Springs, North Carolina. This park lives up to it's name with some marvelous cliffs overlooking the Neuse River. On hot summer days many people come here to cool down in the park's 11 acre swimming lake.
Camping and Lodging: The campground at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park has many campsites. There are many trailer sites with electrical hookups including 30 AMP and 50 AMP. Bathhouses and dump stations are located nearby. For those who would rather sleep indoors the park also has a few cabins.
Trails: Cliffs of the Neuse State Park has several trails.
350 Yard Trail: There's the 350 yard trail which is exactly as long as the name says it is and is ranked as moderate in difficulty and leads to the 90 foot bluff overlooking the river.
The Bird Trail is a half mile long and is ranked as moderate in difficulty and even passes through a section of the park where Civil War Soldiers once camped in 1862.
The Galax Trail is also a half mile long and is ranked as an easy hike.
The Lake Trail is nearly two miles long and is ranked as moderate in difficulty. As the name implies this trail takes the visitor to the park's 11 acre swim lake.
The Longleaf Trail is 0.4 miles long and is considered to be an easy hike.
Not all of the park's trails are terrestrial, the Neuse Paddle Trail is a great paddling experience on the river.
The Old Wagon Path is an easy 0.4 mile long trail.
The Sand Path Trail is a moderate difficulty 1.8 mile hike.
The Spanish Moss Trail is a half mile long and is ranked moderate in difficulty.
