Welcome to Ehmen Park in Gothenburg, Nebraska. This park was named for Reverend William Ehmen who migrated to the region in 1879 while working for Union Pacific Railroad. He helped bring many German settlers to the region and generously donated some land he owned to the City of Gothenburg in 1890 to be made into a city park.
