Welcome to the beautiful Platte River State Park located on the banks of the Platte River near Louisville, Nebraska about halfway between Omaha and Lincoln. Before it became a state park it was two active camps Camp Esther K. Newman and Harriet Harding Camp for girls. Come out and explore miles of multipurpose trails and see a small waterfall. 

Camping and Lodging: All of the campsites at Platte River State Park are primitive tent sites. There are no RV sites. For people who want to sleep indoors the park dose have 31 cabins all of which have kitchens and a refrigerator.
