Welcome to Omaha's McKinley Park. Like North America's highest mountain, this park is named for William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States and one of only a handful to be assassinated. McKinley was born in Ohio in 1843 and was elected President of the United States in 1896. In 1901 he was assassinated in Buffalo, New York. Today this park has a multipurpose field and a playground.
