Welcome to Bunker Hill and Franklin Park Natural Areas in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2005 Franklin Township purchased the land for Bunker Hill Natural Area from a local real estate developer. The township purchased the land for Franklin Park Natural Area in 2001. Come out and explore multipurpose trails for all seasons.
These 2 parks are next to each other so they share a profile. The entrance to Franklin Park Natural Area is located at 903 Old Vliet Road.

Franklin New Jersey Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close 30 minutes after dusk.
*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, soliciting, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; archery, entering and exiting the parks, fires, golf, horseback riding, motor vehicles, picnicking, remote control aircraft, skating, sledding.
*The following require special permits; advertising, sales.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. They are not allowed at Bunker Hill Environmental Center.
