Welcome to Wescott Preserve in Stockton, New Jersey. This park is named for the land's previous owner Lloyd Wescott who operated a farm on the land in the mid-20th century. It was in 1996 when Wescott sold this land to Hunterdon County thereby making it the first county park. Come out and explore moderate level hiking trails or do some trout fishing. Some of the wildlife you may encounter include white-tailed deer, raccoons, and squirrels.
