Santa Fe's Frank S. Ortiz Park was once used as an internment camp for Japanese POW's during World War II. Today it has a nice playground and a picnic area.
When visiting any park in Santa Fe, New Mexico it is important to respect the rules.
*Unless one has a special permit from the city, all the following activities are prohibited; public events and gatherings, sales and solicitations, camping.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of New Mexico traffic laws.
*All burning must stay in picnic grills.
*All golfing and skating must stay in designated areas.
*Please use athletic courts only for their designated purporse.
