Welcome to New York City's D'Emic Playground located in Brooklyn. This park is named for John D'Emic, the youngest of 7 sons born to Italian immigrants. D'Emic started to work at the age of 12 and over the years would become a plumber, a pharmacist, a truck driver, and a trolley motorman. D'Emic was also a WWI Veteran.
New York City Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks close at 1:00 a.m. and open at 6:00 a.m.
*The following are prohibited; childless adults in the playground areas, defacing public property, fighting, gambling, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, sexual activity, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; alcoholic beverages, bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.
*The following require special permits; camping, sales.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
