Welcome to Robert E. Venable Park in Brooklyn, New York. This park was named for a New York City Transit Cop who died in the line of duty on September 22, 1987. Other than being a police officer Venable was also an active member of his community and did a lot for the youth in both his church as well as the local school system. Come out and play a few rounds of handball, shoot some baskets, and bring the kids to the playground.
