Welcome to Phragmites Park and Betty Allen Nature Preserve located on Long Island near Centerport, New York. Though small in size, many people enjoy this park because of it's trail that circles it's scenic pond. Federal funding via the Land and Water Conservation Fund helped the City of Huntington purchase this land in 1972. Come out and explore.

Huntington New York Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, motor vehicles (including watercraft), swimming.
*All children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
