Queens New York Parks
Welcome to New York City's Captain Dermody Triangle located in the Bayside Neighborhood of Queens. This small park was named in memory of a pro-abolutionist Civil War Veteran named Captain William C. Dermody who fell in the line of duty on May 12, 1864.
New York City Park Ordinances
*Unless otherwise posted all parks close at 1:00 a.m. and open at 6:00 a.m.
*The following are prohibited; childless adults in the playground areas, defacing public property, fighting, gambling, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering, sexual activity, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; alcoholic beverages, bicycles, fires, fishing, horseback riding, motor vehicles, swimming.
*The following require special permits; camping, sales.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
