Queens New York Parks
Welcome to New York City's Jamaica Bay and the Rockaways Park located in the Broad Channel section Queens. This wetland preserve is not one parcel but several scattered around the bay. At 10,000 acres this park is about the size of Manhattan Island. Where the specific activities and amenities are is not super easy to narrow down in just one profile, but there are many trails, both terrestrial and aquatic, just waiting to be explored. The acreage of this park is calculated carefully and any parcel with details is listed seperately.
Dubos Point Wildlife Santcuary as well as Brant Point Wildlife Santcuary are subtracted from this profile in terms of acreage.
