Welcome to Barry Park located in Syracuse, New York. This urban park was first established in 1957 and was named for the second Commissioner Parks, William A. Barry, who was also a graduate of Syracuse University. Today this park boasts four soccer fields, a baseball field, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground for the kids. Come on out and have fun.

Syracuse New York Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn year round and close at 9:00 p.m. from October 1-April 30 and close at 10 p.m. at all other times of the year.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, glass objects, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, skating, skiing, sledding.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
