Welcome to O'Neil Woods Metro Park located in Bath, Ohio.

Park History: The land that is now O'Neil Woods Metro Park was named for the previous owners, the O'Neil family. William O'Neil was the founder of General Tire and Rubber Company and operated this land as a family farm. In 1972 Mr. O'Neil and his wife grace sold their farm to the Metro Park's District at a time when their son was serving on the Board of Park Commissioners.

For the lover of the outdoors O'Neil Woods Metro Park boasts nearly 2 miles of trails, picnic tables with grills, and much more. It is a great place for bird-watching and people have seen blue birds, kingfishers, and great horned owls. Come on out and explore!
