In 1998, the state acquired the 1,122 acres that make up Beaver Creek State Forest near Calcutta. Wildlife: Beaver Creek State Forest helps protect the home of numerous wild critters including squirrels, deer, foxes, and raccoons. Please treat their home with respect.
