Eugene Oregon Picnic Areas
Welcome to Owen Rose Garden located on the banks of the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon. This park is named for the former City Councilman who generously donated his land to the city in 1951, George E. Owen. Shortly after that happened the Eugene Rose Society donated 750 rose bushes. Come have a nice picnic, see the nationally recognized Oregon Cherry Tree, and explore the paved multipurpose trail.

Eugene Oregon Park Rules
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages, defacing public property, glass objects, harming of wildlife, littering, smoking, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, golfing, motor vehicles.
*The following require special permits; amplified sound, metal detectors, sales.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.
*No more than one person is allowed to occupy a restroom stall unless assisting a disabled person or a child 8 years of age or younger.
