Welcome to Ed Benedict Park in Portland, Oregon. This park was first established in 1988 and was named for a local statesman who helped establish the park. Benedict was an active member of his local community as well as member of the East County Coordinating Committtee, the NAACP, and the Urban League of Portland.

*All parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at midnight.

*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, weapons, fireworks.

*The following require special permits; sales.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, fishing, motor vehicles, fires, golfing, archery, remote control vehicles.

*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.
