Welcome to Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, a forest, meadow, and wetland preserve located on the banks of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. This park was first established in 1959 and believe it or not much of the land was once a landfill.
Oaks Pioneer Church and Park is included in this park's profile and acreage. This park, first established in 1958 is home to an old Episcopal Church that was first established in 1851.

*All parks open at 5:00 a.m. and close at midnight.
*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, weapons, fireworks.
*The following require special permits; sales.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas, fishing, motor vehicles, fires, golfing, archery, remote control vehicles.
*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.
