Welcome to Sacajawea Park in Portland Oregon. This park was first established in 1985 and was named for the Shoshone Native American woman who married Touissaint Charbonneau, the Frenchman who helped lead a section of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It is said that Sacajawea was a better guide than her husband.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks close at 12:01 a.m. and open at 5:00 a.m.
*The following are prohibited; alcoholic beverages (except during special occasions under specific circumstances), defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, tobacco products, weapons.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; archery, bathing, fires, fishing, golfing, motor vehicles, remote control aircraft, swimming.
*The following require special permits; sales, setting off fireworks.
*Please try to use the restrooms for all purposes of urination or defacation.
*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.
