Welcome to Apollo Park located near Felton, Pennsylvania. This park was donated to York County by it's owner P.H. Gladfelter in 1969 and was named Apollo Park in honor of the first lunar landing. Apollo Park helps protect a wildlife habitat that is a prime example of the Susquehanna River Hill Country. It's forest of oaks, mountain laurels, and rhododendrons protect habitat for white-tailed deer, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, red-tailed hawks, and many others. For the human visitor Apollo Park offers access to the 193 mile multipurpose Mason-Dixon Trail. Come out and explore.

When visiting any park in York County Pennsylvania please be respectful of the rules.

All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey the 25 mph speed limit.

Speed limit 25 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted. Operation of vehicles in reckless or negligent manner is prohibited.

Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6 a.m. and close at sundown.

Drugs and alcohol are not allowed.

Please help keep the parks clean and dispose of all trash in proper containers.

Do not use foul language or engage in boisterious behavior.

Setting off fireworks requires special permit.

Please respect all park property including athletic facilities, benches, buildings, and plants. Please do not harrass wildlife either.

Due to fire hazard Charcoal grills are not allowed.

Swimming is not allowed in natural bodies of water.

Camping requires special permit.

Boat launching is only allowed at Lake Redman and Lake Williams.
