Welcome to Richard Nixon Park located in York, Pennsylvania. This park was donated to York County in 1968 from the Hoffman Family shortly after Richard Nixon was elected President and thus was named for the man. Richard Nixon was the 6th cousin to me, the founder of RecPlanet, but I did not know this until after he passed away. One of the highlights of Richard Nixon Park is it's 14,000 square foot nature center which helps protect the habitat of many plant and animal species and gives the visitor a visual diplay of Pennsylvania's natural history. For the human visitor this park boasts over six miles of hiking trails (which are only allowed for hiking) and more. Come out and have fun.
