Welcome to Martin Park in Charleston, South Carolina. Like many parks across the United States, this one is named for world renouned civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. King was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929, led many peaceful marches and protests, and died in Memphis, Tennessee in 1968. Martin Park's athletic facilities have lights for evening activity.
