Ninety Six National Historic Site
Welcome to South Carolina's Ninety Six National Historic Site. There is a history behind the name of both the park and the town that dates back to 18th century colonial days. Traders from Charleston thought it was 96 miles from this spot to the Cherokee village of Keowee. This was also the site of the first land battle south of New England during the Revolutionary War. Come out and learn a little history and explore the hiking trails.
Park Wildlife: Some of the resident wildlife include coyotes, bobcats, white-tailed deer, rabbits, and many others. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
