Welcome to the beautiful River Park located at the confluence of Manchester Creek and the Catawba River in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Being in such a beautiful and protected natural setting, this place is a popular field trip destination for both adults and school children to come learn many valuables science lessons. There is even an outdoor classroom. River Park is a popular place for local bird-watchers and protects the home of mallards, blue herons, red-tailed hawks, and numerous others. Some of the other animals that inhabit this park include snapping turtles, white-tailed deer, grey squirrels, raccoons, and frogs. One can explore this park by land on it's more than three miles of trails or by canoe or kayak on the Catawba River. It is an adventure well worth having! *All public facilities open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.
*Skateboards, drugs, alcohol, and firearms are prohibited in all city parks.
*All children ages 9 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.
*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 3 feet), and waste removed.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of South Carolina traffic laws.
*Please use the parks at your own risk, the City of Rock Hill is not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
*All burning must remain in picnic grills.
