Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful forest and wetland preserve located on the South Carolina coast that was first established in December 1997 in order to primarily protect habitat for migratory birds and endangered species. Some of the wildlife include red foxes, black bears, ospreys, and wild turkeys.
