Welcome to James Agee Park, a small natural park located in downtown Knoxville not far from the University of Tennessee. This little gem was first established in 2003 and named after a great novelist, screen writer, film critic, and poet, James Agee. Agee's Autobiography received a Pulitzer Prize.

When visiting any park in the City of Knoxville please respect the rules.

PARK RULES & REGULATIONS:

1.) All of the following are prohibited at all city parks.

  • Weapons
  • Alcohol
  • Open burning
  • Golfing
  • No motorized vehicles in park
  • Horseback riding.
    2.) All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
    3.) Please respect all other visitors.
    4.) No littering!
    5.) Unless otherwise posted all parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.
  • Please respect these rules, the parks, and all local, State of Tennessee and United States Statutes.
