Welcome to the beautiful Mud Island River Park located on the banks of the mighty Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee. This park and it's famous riverwalk is a great place to catch views of the mighty river. The park's most unique feature is it's scale model of the Mississippi River from the Ohio River to the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf of Mexico model actually holds 1.3 million gallons of water where people can rent pedalboats.
Memphis Tennessee Park Ordinances
*All parks open at 6:00 a.m. year round and close at 8:00 p.m. March 15-October
*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, harming wild animals, alcoholic beverages.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, horses, bicycles.
*All dogs must be leashed no longer than six feet.
*While using the skate parks one must wear a helmet at all times.
