Welcome to Tennessee's beautiful Mister and Mrs. Harry Lee Carter Natural Area located near Sewanee on the edge of the Franklin State Forest. This natural park is a section of the South Cumberland Recreation Area and is named for the couple who generously donated the land to the State of Tennessee. One of the park's more unique features is the Lost Cove Cave which swallows some of the park's streams where they travel underground for over a mile.
