Welcome to Pease Park in Austin, Texas. This park is unique in that since 1974 it has had an annual birthday celebration for Eeyore the Donkey. The park's Shoal Creek has history that includes being Native American fishing grounds and even gold rush days even though no gold was ever found.
When visiting any park in Austin Texas please respect the rules.
*The following activities require special permit, amplified sound, sales, camping.
*The following are all prohibited; Metal Detectors, boisterous behavior, foul language, glass objects, littering.
*Under Texas State Law Abandoned property, including motor vehicles, may be impounded and sold.
*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in athletic fields, swimming pool areas, and school parks.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.
